Purpose

The purpose of Assisteens is to provide leadership and community service opportunities for male and female high school students. Assistance League of Arcadia chartered an auxiliary for the teenage daughters of chapter members in 1958 originally called the Santa Anita Debs. The auxiliary became known as the Assisteens three years later.
